Country: Libreville Gabon Description of the mission: realization of a study of community biosurveillance of fauna and flora in the protected and preserved areas of the forest landscape ranging from the bottom of Ogooue to the bass Nyanga to Gabon Mission/Services period (if applicable): the mission Community biosurveillance must be carried out over a period of 3 months spread out of 6 months, including the training phase, regular data collection, the analysis and the writing of reports. The proposal must be submitted directly to the portal at the latest at the deadline indicated: 31/07/2025Objectives of main objective objective: Recruit an independent (national) consultant to set up a community biosurveillance system to assess Letat and fauna and flora trends in protected and preserved areas of the forest landscape going From Bas Ogooue to Lower Nyanga. Specific objectives: 1. Train local communities in the collection and analysis of biosurveillance data. 2. Identify and map the key species of fauna and flora for biosurveillance. 3. Establish standardized biosurveillance protocols adapted to the capacities of local communities. 4. Analyze the biosurveillance data to assess the biodiversity. 5.
