Description: Gabon has embarked on an innovative sustainable development initiative which resolutely aims to limit or avoid future emissions due to deforestation by optimizing the use and allocation of land and implementing a system of Forest monitoring on the national scale. To this end, specific activities have been defined in the national investment framework (CNI) of the country supported by the Initiative for Central Africa Forests (CAFI).
